Overview
The Yates
Memorial Field House was
opened in 1979 and named in honor of Gerard F. Yates, S.J. The Field
House is a
"modern architectural wonder" that has 142,300 square feet of
recreational space built underground. Kehoe Field, an all-weather
playing
surface on its roof, is home to intercollegiate, intramural, and
recreational
activity. This multifaceted recreational center offers value-packed memberships
to Georgetown
University
students, Alumni, Faculty and
Staff, and members of the local community.
Yates Field
House offers a variety of programs in aquatics,
fitness and wellness, intramural sports, sport clubs, and racquet
sports.
Job Scope
Internships
involve a 12-15 week, 20-30 hours/week, non-paid program. One internship position is
available for each
semester. Duties
include, but are not
limited to:
- Fitness

Personal Training or Group Fitness

and Special Events

Qualifications
Candidates must
have a degree in a related field or working
towards a degree and be CPR certified.
Group exercise and personal training
experience preferred. National
certification highly recommended.
Excellent
interpersonal and oral skills. Able
to work independently. Ability
to handle details accurately. Computer
literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel,
Publisher, and databases needed.

with Advocate Health Centers!
Advocate Health Centers,
community-based medical practices affiliated with Advocate Health Care
(Chicago) is accepting applications for interns to work in the
community
relations department. Advocate
Health
Centers are located throughout the Chicago-land area and surrounding
suburbs
with over 150 physicians practicing at 16 locations.
Interns will support the Community Relations
and Business Development departments by planning, coordinating,
implementing
and delivering wellness programs and events for the community.
.Advocate Health Centers
offers fall, spring, and summer internships to undergraduate students
pursuing
a community health, public health or related degree.
Internships are available for 8-10 weeks,
however can be tailored for school programs.
A stipend of will be
paid upon
